Christ is enough

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV

Many of us have a need for ‘more’. Regardless of what we have or what we have done, we still want more. Recently I went through a revelation with my faith, asking God to reveal why church-going people still can’t seem to wholly rely on Jesus. God answered my prayer first hand, by making my faith weaker than it used to be. I understood that the moment you stop seeking Jesus more than anything else, you are on an unstable foundation of trust. Everything in this world will leave you with nothing if you fully seek them rather than Christ’s salvation. As the bride of Christ, we need to engage every part of our life to be more like Christ. We need to lean on Jesus and his strength, rather than ourselves. We will be left with nothing if not for Christ and the sacrifice he had made on the cross. Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I urge you to pray for your faith to be deeper. To not only know of Jesus and his earthly mission but to build a relationship with him. I urge you to pray for your church and for the holy ghost to pour upon every soul and let them know that Christ is fully enough in their life. As Jesus told the Samaritan woman to seek the living water and she will never thirst again. Commit a daily prayer over your life, for Christ’s grace and knowledge to be over you. Surely, there is nothing comparable to Jesus Christ, May peace and blessings follow you in your lives Brothers and Sisters, thank you.
