One Sure Hope

I had wanted to write this post for a few days but I had not known what to say on this topic. Due to me only being 20 years, not a professional writer, and my knowledge of civil rights and social equality coming from public school and friends and family. But there has been a divide in our country for the past few years. A problem that has made itself so known that there have been protests made against this establishment. We live in a time where more and more people are wanting and seeking equality among workplaces and social groups. Rightfully so, there is no doubt that every man, woman, and child is to be treated equal and loved for who they are. But we still have people who believe that not everyone should be equal. That the right of some should be higher than others. The only answer I can give towards this is JESUS. We have preachers and political figures who proclaim themselves as Christians but are not following the cross when they say that what happened in Charlottesville can be justified. So I can not tell everyone that the church holds the truth, and to go to your local church and you will see what I mean. Sadly that’s not the case. But what I can tell you is to read your bible and to pray to God. Pray for your nation, for your neighborhood and city. Pray for your family and your next door neighbors. Let love be the answer to everything we do. We are able-bodied and ready to proclaim Christ’s message. His message was, is, and forever will be Love. Let nobody believe that they are not welcome or they are not accepted in any establishment. Let all our answers be filled with Love. For God had first loved us so we may love the world and its people just the same. Jesus is the answer.

“And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Acts 4:12
